Welcome to
Derby Magic Circle

Derby Magic Circle is the only magic society within the City of Derby, and has an amazing history spanning over half a century. Run by and for magicians, Derby Magic Circle is the local hub for all things magical for performers, enthusiasts and supporters.

 

Through the organisation of entertainment, lectures and conferences, Derby Magic Circle fulfils its aim of bringing likeminded local magicians together, promoting magic as an art form, and advancing its members skills and expertise.

 

Members come from all backgrounds, and the society welcomes everyone from full-time professional performers, to semi-professionals, to amateur magicians and enthusiasts. Derby Magic Circle is also affiliated with the Northern Magic Circle.

 

As one of the few working magic societies that perform live & enjoyable magical entertainment for people both young & old in the community, Derby Magic Circle covers everything from Stage Magic to Illusion and Cabaret to Close-up Magic. Members get involved in a variety of events including school shows, family shows, charity fundraising, formal dinners, special events and corporate functions.
